Please tell us something unique about you we can’t learn from your bio.
I am descended from Geoffrey Chaucer, author of The Canterbury Tales, on my father’s side.
What inspired you to write romance fiction?
Research into family genealogy inspired me to write fiction and I’m a natural born romantic.
What’s the strangest thing you’ve learned while researching a book?
That’s a tough question, I’ve researched some pretty weird stuff. One of the strangest was researching a tear vial or tear bottle, called Lachrymatory, used by mourners to collect their tears. A fairly common practice in Biblical times, it would seem.
If you could live in one of your stories, which one would you choose and why?
Probably one of the time travels, so I could go back and forth. But the question is which one? The White Lady (Book 2, Ladies in Time) coming out this fall, features a time traveling wizard with power over images. He travels back to various eras depending on the person in the picture he connects with, so maybe that story.
What stories do you have in the works right now?
Book 2, Ladies in Time series, tentatively entitled Secret Lady, is my current WIP. My 12-year-old grandson wants me to write his version of Jurassic Park. He’s mad over dinosaurs.
